Jennie Stoddart Bernard has been the Christian Church in Ohio Regional Administrator (then Office Administrator) since October 4, 2004. Before this, Jennie had worked on Camp Christian Summer Staff, first in the Kitchen in 2001, then as the Camp Secretary 2002-2004. Working at Camp Christian, especially in the office connected her to many people throughout the Christian Church in Ohio and Regional Ministries and led to her accepting the job at the Regional Church Office.
Jennie is a 3rd generation Disciple, growing up at the Central Christian Church in Warren where her parents, Ken and Sue Stoddart are still members.
Jennie’s husband Dave Bernard, also a lifelifelong Disciple, grew up at the Central Christian Church in Kettering. She originally met Dave through a statewide Ohio CYF program in 2000 and then he was also on Camp Christian Summer Staff with her 2002-2004. Jennie and Dave were married October 16, 2015.
Outside of work, Jennie loves art, movies, animals, photography and cooking. Jennie and Dave live in the greater Columbus area.
