Ephesians 4:11-13 NRSV
[11] The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, [12] to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, [13] until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.
We make God’s love visible as we live out our faith, sharing for the common good the gifts God has given us. What are your gifts? Are you sharing them for the common good?
The Beloved Community is life in the Commonwealth of God, where we all experience the fullness of being loved and of loving one another. In the Beloved Community, all are welcome and all are invited to serve.
Have you ever been told your gifts were unwelcome, or been left out because of who you are? When God’s love is visible, you are welcome and your gifts are needed to build up the community. Maturity is loving and being loved to the full measure of Christ.
What an adventure! Are you all in? Let’s go, together.
