WORK HAS BEGUN!!
Because of your generosity, the construction of a new pool, pool house, and picnic pavilion has begun! These photographs (linked HERE) show the asphalt pad that has been present for so many years has been stripped away and heavy equipment is beginning to level the ground for the buildings and dig the hole for the pool. Working with Andrews Construction and Patterson Pools, our Camp Christian Facilities Manager, David Stonebraker-Martinez, is ensuring construction is moving smoothly.
Along with an expanded Regional Church staff and accessibility improvements, this pool will help ensure that the greatest asset the Christian Church in Ohio has – both physically and emotionally – will be stable and secure for generations to come, and will be better able to serve more of our congregations, leaders, and those beyond the church.
A big event to celebrate the construction project, titled “Dive Into Tomorrow,” timed to coincide with a Camp Christian Open House, is set for Saturday, May 16th in the afternoon. Watch for more details in our Regional Newsletter and on social media.
