The next phase of our Christian Church in Ohio Lay Preaching Academy will be held Sunday October 5th from 4pm – 9pm in the Monroe Lodge at Camp Christian. This training is open to anyone whether or not you have attended any of the Lay Preaching Academy events before.
Two gifted pastors and preachers from the Christian Church in Ohio will explore the similarities and differences between pastoral preaching and prophetic preaching. Rev. Dr. Eric Brown is Senior Pastor of Woodland Christian Church in Columbus. Rev. Audrey Connor is a Senior Staff Chaplain at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. They will help guide us from their unique perspectives on what it means to meditate on God’s Holy Word from a pastoral perspective, prophetic perspective, and/or both!
Check-in to the Monroe Lodge will start at 3pm with the program beginning at 4pm and concluding by 9pm.
The training will include Dinner on Sunday evening. Overnight accommodations Sunday evening is optional.
