Featuring Retreat Leader the Rev. Dr. Christal Williams

Dr. Williams is a proud native of Cleveland, Ohio, whose prophetic voice proclaims God's love, grace, and reconciliation for all humanity. She embodies this message through her life’s work as a pastoral pioneer, mentor, spiritual administrator, and intentional leader.

A graduate of the Cleveland School of the Performing Arts with a concentration on Vocal Music and Theory, Dr. Williams earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Jarvis Christian University in Hawkins, Texas, a Master of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana, and a Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.

Ordained at Southport Christian Church in Indianapolis, Dr. Williams currently serves as the Regional Minister for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Indiana, where she made history as the first woman to hold this position.
