The Foundation's flagship Legacy Scholars program offers scholarships and leadership development to outstanding full-time undergraduate students pursuing a liberal arts education at colleges or universities affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

If you answered "yes" to these questions, you may qualify as a candidate for the Leadership Fellows Program.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Active membership in a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) congregation
- Entering their first year of Undergraduate studies in the Fall of 2017
(Unfortunately, we cannot accept applicants who are current college students.) - Demonstrated leadership qualities in school, community, and church contexts.

John and Maxine McCaw Scholarship
The John and Maxine McCaw Scholarship Fund for Prophetic Living, Teaching, and Preaching is open to Disciples of Christ students who are currently enrolled in seminary and preparing for ministry.
Dr. John McCaw and his wife Maxine exemplified faithful service. Dr. McCaw was an educator and served as chair of the Religion Department at Drake University for many years. Maxine was a concert pianist and taught piano. Their scholarship fund is a legacy of their commitment to prophetic ministry.
Disciples of Christ seminary students are invited to apply by completing the application form and by responding in writing to John and Maxine’s statement which is included on the application. Scholarship decisions will be made by the Oreon E. Scott trustees each May.
