The Regional Church Office is excited to announce that we are introducing a new online portal that will interface with our database, and directly connects with easy online event and camp registration on all your devices!
This online portal is call "CDM+ Engage.” Each person can have a profile that they can update themselves. Plus when you go to register for a CCIO event, it will automatically populate your profile information. On our administrative side the program will fill in the registration information into our database seamlessly, which will make the registration process even easier for both attendees and staff.
We encourage you all to create a profile and let us know if you run into any issues, have any questions, or find that something needs more clarification.
Here are the steps to create your profile:
- Go to https://engage.suran.com/christianchurchinohio/create_account
- Look to make sure it says Christian Church Ohio (Disciples of Christ) at the top of the page.
- You may need to select "create account" under the sign in button.
- Enter your email address Click "Check Email Address”
- If you have multiple email addresses, please start with the one you generally use for the Christian Church in Ohio / Camp Christian
- If you have entered an email address that is already attached to our database, then your name should pop up. Click on your name.Create a user name.A confirmation email will be sent to you.
- If your name does not pop up, please try another email address that we might have on file. If it's an old one you don't use any more, that can be updated once you've logged in.
- Note: If you have been to an event through the Region or Camp Christian, you will most likely already have an email in the system.
- If you do not have another email address, then you will click on "Click here to create new account.”
- In the email there is a "Click Here” link next to "Create Password Link” – click the link and it will take you to the page to create your password.
- Once you have created a password, there will be a popup for you to log in.
That's it, you're all set!
A couple notes from questions we have already encountered:
- You may have adult children connected with your address who no longer live with you. If this is the case, then that just means the last known address we have for them on file is your address. You can send a current address to ccio@ccinoh.org to correct this.
- You cannot edit the information for someone else. For example, a spouse will be connected to you through the system, but they would need to edit their own profile. If that person cannot/does not wish to have a profile, please email us and we can edit the information on our end.
- These profiles are for individuals, not Congregations. A Minister and/or other Staff member of a Church would have their profile in their name, not as the Church.
